No login, no advertising, no cross-site tracking or analytics cookies. Your saved locations, unit and theme live only in your browser’s localStorage on your device — we never receive them.
For an initial approximate location your IP is sent once per session to ipwho.is (Cloudflare supplies the IP). Precise GPS location is used only if you tap “use my location” and grant permission, and is never stored on our servers.
The server keeps minimal non-identifying app-event records (e.g. “a forecast was viewed”) for reliability. No personal data is sold or shared.
Open-Meteo, OpenStreetMap, RainViewer, ipwho.is and Cloudflare process requests to deliver the service under their own policies.
